ENSEMBLES

Einstudierung des Repertoires der traditionellen sowie der modalen Musik, insbesondere aus der Smyrneiko-Gattung (städtische Volksmusik, Vorkriegszeit-Rebetiko), aber auch aus den verschiedenen Regionen Griechenlands.
4 x 2 Std : 45 Euro
Die Teilnahme an den Orchestern ist für unsere Instrumenten- oder Gesangsschüler bei 4 geleisteten Einzelstunden kostenlos. Wenn weniger als 4 Stunden monatlich geleistet werden, gibt es entsprechend ein Rabatt von 7 Euro pro geleistete Einzelstunde.
Aber wir freuen uns auf alle, die ein Musikinstrument spielen oder gerne singen, und sich in der griechischen Musik ausprobieren und deren Geheimnisse entdecken wollen. Ziel des Orchesters ist ausserdem das öffentliche Auftreten (bei Konzerten sowie Veranstaltungen), damit man auch mit dem ganz besonderen gesellschaftlichen Aspekt der griechischen Musik vertraut wird.
Chöre
Es macht Spaß, in der geborgenen Atmosphäre der Gemeinsamkeit die eigene Stimme zu erforschen und bekannte oder auch völlig neue Lieder zusammen zu singen. Unsere Chöre wenden sich nicht nur an Griechinnen und Griechen, sondern an alle BerlinerInnen, die die griechische Musik lieben und sie entspannt erlernen wollen.
Je nach Interesse haben wir vor, folgende Chöre zu gründen (stehen aber für eure Ideen und Anregungen offen):
Kinderchor
Sorgfältig ausgewählte Lieder, die bunte Eindrücke von den musikalischen Idiomen Griechenlands bei den Kindern erwecken und ihre Phantasie anregen.
Sanfte Einführung in die Melodie- und Rythmuslehre.

FÜR UNSERE KLEINSTEN
Rhythmus-Früherziehung für Kinder zw. 3 und 6 Jahren
Ein spannender Musikkurs für Kleinkinder. In entspannter Atmosphäre werden die Kinder sanft in die Musikwelt eingeführt. Mit gezielten Übungen, bunten Spielen und viel Bewegung entwickeln sie ihre Musikalität und entfalten ihre Phantasie . Min. Teilnehmerzahl 8 Kinder.
4 x 1 Std 15 Min bzw. 1 Std 30 Min (abhängig von der Teilnehmerzahl):

- MUSIC ANALYSIS FOR AMATEURS
Do you love a song and you want to get deeper into it?
Have you always wanted to understand the basics of music but never had the time for it?
Have you been studying music for some time but still your music comprehension seems shallow?
Do you play an instrument but never have been properly taught of music analysis?
Well…THIS is your class!
Music analysis for amateurs offers a triple journey through music for those who know very little or nothing (!) about music. It is a class of twelve sessions, two-hour long, divided into three parts:
The first part takes a walk through the basics of music while instructing how to count and understand the form and the structure of a music piece.
The second part is the journey of music through the ages, where we look at the music of earlier times and cultures and search for the path by which man entered the world of sound.
The third part tours through the different music styles established during the last century while displaying similarities and differences, social impact and analyzing examples as set by the participants.
Teaching is based mainly on listening and commenting on numerous recordings rather than talking theory. Optionally, each student can take creative tasks for homework.

Note: Professionals of the stage or screen arts such as dancers, actors, performers, stage directors, filmmakers (directors, editors, montage) or even musicians can take the seminar an individual class focused on their needs and expertise. This way they can learn how to count a desired music piece, understand its form and recognize its cultural background, improving their musical understanding in general and ameliorating the communication with their musician colleagues (composers, performers, arrangers etc.)
Professional of culture management and art journalists can take this seminar as an individual class to deepen their musical understanding and/or get a fast overview of the trends around the world and through the ages.
